I became interested in alternative medicine at 16 years of age. My parents rushed me to the emergency room from excruciating pain of rupturing ovarian cysts. When I was finally admitted the doctors said it was ‘a bout of gas’ and dismissed me. Using my intuition, I knew they were wrong and decided to help myself. I immediately went to a radiology clinic and demanded an ultrasound which showed multiple cysts. I spent the next few months teaching myself everything there was to know about the female body and radically changed my diet. Growing up in Michigan I was raised on the standard meat, potatoes and dairy. I became a vegetarian, cut out dairy completely and the following cycles were pain free I was able to change my body chemistry naturally without the birth control pill or other invasive procedures.
This event changed how I viewed healthcare and showed me how intelligent our bodies are. We are our best or worst medicine based on the choices that we make on a daily basis. We empower ourselves with the food we eat, where we chose to live, who we have company with. What attitudes and belief systems do we hold about ourselves and the world? All these internal messages and information we take in from our societal and family culture affect our ability to enjoy vitality.

I hold a Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine Magna Cum Laude, San Diego 1999, a premier accredited 4 year medical institution that specializes in providing practitioners an opportunity to become an integral part of the modern health care system as primary, independent health care providers. To further my expertise in reproductive medicine I was certified as a specialist by the American Board of Oriental Medical Reproductive Medicine, www.aborm.org
When I’m not in my private practice you can also find me hiking in Pt. Reyes, Dancing at ROCO Dance Studio, or causing mischief with friends. I look forward to assisting you with your health care needs.
