I have worked with other acupuncturists, but non as talented, intuitive, mindful, or present as Heather. I sought out Heather as I was getting ready to try to conceive and I wanted my body to be as strong and as ready as possible. Upon asking a series of questions, Heather began to work her magic and treated the whole of me, mind, body and spirit. After a couple of weeks of weekly acupuncture and herbs, I began to feel a shift and changes within. As my cycle approached Heather targeted points to strengthen my reproductive system. I am delighted and so deeply blessed to report that I got pregnant the first month we tried!  I continue to work with Heather and will continue to work with her throughout my pregnancy. I have a deep sense of gratitude that my journey led me to her.

Heather is to acupuncture like Led Zeppelin is to classic rock.  I crawled into her office a few months ago begging for mercy, and in a short period of time she was able to help me restore my energy and health.  It's a long  story but I'll try to keep it short.  Like most ladies, I bleed monthly.  Unlike most ladies, my monthly bleeding could keep the Red Cross stashed for a while, my passing through would be the equivalent of very many people donating very many pints of blood.  So this makes me feel anemic, it doesn't lower my iron levels enough for anyone at the "regular" doctor to diagnose it but I get shortness of breath just walking up the stairs to my apt., massive headaches that have me curl up in a ball, and overall shittiness that a rock star like myself has no time for.  Classic symptoms of my undiagnosed anemia.  I started taking iron to fight the anemia but with the monthly hemorrhage it's a challenge to build up those ferratin reserves.  I have all kinds of tests and no one ever finds anything, until very recently I finally found out I have a tiny little fibroid.  So the "regular" doctor wants me to go on the birth control pill.  That's their best and only offering.  I know I'm fucked because I've been on the pill twice, once I felt suicidal, the second time I went for homicidal tendencies.  Not gonna work.  At a complete loss, I realized that the 45 minute drive from San Francisco to Fairfax would be worth it if I can get help.  
So the truth is that I have no idea what Heather does and I actually don't need to know, that is her job.  But whatever it is that she does, works.  I am committed to feeling l like a million bucks and I'm almost there in a short few months with no need of violent drugs in my system, thanks in large part to Heather's work.  Unfortunately, I only feel better when I DO what she tells me instead of just saying I'm gonna do it and then blowing it off.  But the beauty is that if I want a solution, it is readily available.
